My Magpul Masada AKM (AEG) charging handle is suppose to pull back the bolt and lock it into place, and to then be released by sliding the bolt release down, however the bolt doesn't catch. I have no internal modifications. Any help will be much appreciated, thanks in advanced.

Yeah, you need to depress the bolt catch manually.
