There was a thread like this on another forum (Now closed) were we would scour the airsoft forums of the UK looking for dreamers asking outrageous prices for secondhand goods. Id rather this didnt turn into a sh*t slinging thread just a general laugh at how crazy some peoples prices are. I know myself and monty are usually on Z1 disliking the crazy prices already so if youve found some we have missed post away. Try and use the format below, Ill start

Cyma Glock 18 AEP - £70 plus postage and paypal fees!!!!!!!

My latest favourite:

http://forums.zeroin.co.uk/showthread.php?256584-Tokyo-Marui-Vtac-custom-M-amp-P9-desert-tan-smith-and-wesson

Comes with box and normal marui stuff, 2 extra grips one is painted red, painted the detail on top slide in white however the original paint came off a bit as you can see in the pictures not a big deal, the gun is brand new apart from that and functions as new. Any questions please ask
I PM'd him and asked if he'd take 90 quid for it as I'd clearly have to replace the slide and grip (considering they're £130 new):

nope just because the paint is rubbed off a bit in two places on one side of the slide does not mean it is ruined I'm not going to let it go for £92 sorry, I'd accept £115 + postage.
The dislikes and desperate bumps make me feel warm and fuzzy though.

A "perfect condition eotech, except the scope lights don't light up" £25

Aww guy deleted the thread on Z1 laughed my ass of at the time but what made it worse was it wasn't even a real eotech or a high quality replica it was an ACM one :D

Guy on Z1 trying to sell a "real steel" Surefire X300 even though it's very obvious that it's a cheap £30 replica...

http://forums.zeroin.co.uk/showthread.php?258017-Genuine-Surefire-X300-Weapon-Light

Don't need to have perfect eyesight or super ladies x-ray underwear nude boob staring glasses to see it's clearly real steel...

http://www.surefire.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=X300
Might not be a fake one, the code on the side of it suggests it's a very early surefire x300, available in 2003. Hence why it doesn't look like the current line-up

Afraid not, however I understand your statement. Surefire's logo has always remained the same and if you look at the curves above and below "Surefire" on his and compare them to current X300's you'll see a sight but noticeable difference between them. A real X300 (even the early ones) have the curves almost connecting to the Surefire name. However on his, there's a noticeable gap.

Ahh see what you mean, the curve shapes wrong too! on the genuine one start from a flat edge and go to a point, on his its a point on both ends of each curve. even the batteries have the same logo.

I've found some references to surefire changing their logo slightly in 2011 though, and looking through pictures lots of ones from pre 2011 with the same logo. these could also be fakes, at the ridiculous price these things cost clones can't be too uncommon. definately dubious enough to not bother with, good spot sir!

TM P226 rail, yes the really old one, with 3 mags although one is knackered, hasn't been used in over a year,

£150 plus post!!!

Just popped up on one of the FB. Pages I have pointed out that a new P226 with a spare brand new mag is under his asking price........

Guy selling M249 on facebook sales page. Says he needs money quick. Ask about age of the gun "dunno mate" FPS of gun "dunno mate" no mods or extras. I give him an offer of £150 as its around 60% of RRP. "I'm looking for more like £200 mate" Tell him that you can get them new for less with a warranty. Says whatever after me telling him that its a fair price for a gun that has unknown age and FPS but then about 45 mins later comes back with £160. Many chuckles were had.

I've encountered "not known" with a fair few sales ive enquired as to the age of the product. It's a little bizarre.
