So a few of you may know my G36C and the fact I have pretty much topped out anything I can do to it.

Suffice to say I have had nothing to waste my money on so started a new project.

1 x Classic Army M4 CQB

Out of the box it has fantastic trigger response and the groupings are very close on full auto.

FPS = 337 standard.

So I have ordered a few bits but this is the gun in its primary state:-

So first of all I dont like the stock tube all being black so now its got to be changed

Tools used:-

Fine grade Wet and Dry Sand Paper
Autosol
3 x poloshing cloths
1 x toilet roll

In its primary colour with a tiny bit of paints lifted

Finished 1 side and no major scoring just light scratches from sandpaper and dullness.

OK, arrived home today to find my bits had arrived so on they went.

First of all the front triangular sight had to go - this was obstructive but also needed so this was the perfect option - front folding sight

Next was the front handguard - getting away from the usual RIS setup people have I decided to go a little bit different. Inbuilt torch handguard

So you've done the one thing that most systema owners hate about their guns :P

I have haha.

Personally prefer the break up of the black by doing this,

I hate the buffer tube on Systemas, but knowing that you've gone to the effort of doing it yourself, I think it actually looks pretty good. Weirdly lol.

I think it looks great. Makes me want an M4 again for my up and coming CQB loadout.

Thanks for that ED. Ye the buffer tube was a tough one....I looked at the ones with silver tubes and thought they look so nice....everyone has a black tube....I dont want it to be mistaken for a systema, I like the look of it and is a bit different.

The bits are the general assortment of try and test. Fingers crossed ive just managed to pull it off....looks alot better in the flesh than the pictures.

I'd do the Barrel Aswell Personally. But i Like the Look so Far! I Got a General Build that's doing the same but the A Frame Front sight has to stay my particular Rendition!

That looks awesome mate, I really like the buffer tube personally.

Out of interest, where did you get this gun from? My mate was looking for one a while back and it was out of stock haha.

Hi Rez, it was at JDairsoft in cannock.

£169.99

Don't suppose you'll be at The Stan on Sunday, Chris? I might be there with a few of the guys from my Uni group.

Hi ed, Unfortunately im at matlock games on saturday ed.
