M4/16 Tracer Mags, are they any good?

As it says above, I'll be going to a night milsim game in about a month and was wondering if they are actually worth the money or even if they work very well? Are tracers just a nice looking bit of kit or would I be better off getting 2 normal mids over one tracer mid?

I'm not wanting the silencer type as I have an L85 and I think it'd look a bit odd.

not heard much about them but it would be cheaper to get a high cap use tm bbs and put a bright led in the mag saves money and works
