Looking for £150 electric rifle

Hello again,

I posted about a year ago on this site about an air soft gun and then my parents minds changed and found out i wasn't allowed one so sorry for wasting your time before.

I'm now allowed to purchase a gun and would like some advice from you guys.

My main concern with air soft guns is that they break really easily, so I'm looking for quite a sturdy gun that has cheap spare parts and is easy to fix and rarely breaks

My budget is Min £50 with very top of Max £150, electric or bolt, most certainly not gas, and holds the average size pellet.

Preferably *as we have a group of about 30 friends who have permission to use a big stretch of private wood from a farmer* I want a gun that I can run without much trouble and that can shoot a reasonably long distance, quite accurately. I'm not that bothered about power or looks.

I once borrowed a fa-mas and even though it was accurate it was impossible to reload quickly and therefore got me really frustrated, so something slightly better than a fa-mas but sturdier and easier to reload :-) And not Pistol or Proper Rifle.

Please not 2nd hand and only in the UK, thank you.

If my requirements are just totally unrealistic just say. Thank you.

 
First off you wouldn't get a broken GBB for £50 and nothing decent for under £150....next you don't want 2nd hand but looking in the classifieds on a Forum instead of online Shops???

Finally, skirmishing on Farmer's Land with permision could still be dodgey, who would be liable in the event of an accident and although unlikely you might get a visit from an ARU who may think you are Terrorists LOL

How old are you BTW?

If starting off and old enough get a good 2nd hand 2 tone M4 or similar.

Hi, thanks for the fast reply, I know it can be dodgy but technically if anybody innocent gets shot there they are trespassing. Thanks for the tip.

i have a G36 E for 80 if you want it their 160 new so already saving!

 
We all started off "uneducated" LOL you'll soon pick things up as you go along.

G & G aren't bad Guns for the Money, good for starters and they take most upgrade parts without too much fuss. You can pick very good 2nd hand ones for around £100.

Metal bodies are strongest, then Nylon with ABS (Plastic) being weakest.

Thankyou, you have helped me build a better understanding of air-soft. If I see a 2nd hand gun and i'm not sure, can i PM you and ask for your honest verdict. And is there a way to give you credit or build rep like on other forums.

Rep/rank thing just goes on posts I'm afraid which tbh once you've passed 100 or so nobody pays much attention too, obviously somebody selling stuff with only a few posts will be treated with caution compared to a "regular".

If you see something you like the look of try the search button first as we've had 100s of "Are G & G M4s any good?" etc threads but if you can't find anything start a thread. :-)
