Hope someone can help with this, currently looking to replace the Ni-mh batteries I have had about 4 years with this: https://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/product/titan-power-version-70-74v-3000mah-li-ion-stick-battery-tamiya-connection-10813

I have a G&G raider 2.0 which I have been told will fit in the buffer tube no issue. I also have an E&L AKS74-U and was hoping to use the same battery in both guns (not at the same time, obviously).

Can anyone confirm this battery will fit properly under the dust cover?

Appreciate lipos are cheaper and more common, just don't want them on safety grounds regardless of how small the risk is/can be. ?

Since you have the guns, and they give the dimensions of the battery, you could cut a piece of cardboard to that size and try it out, rather than trusting "Eh, it'll be fine" from us interwebs randos who have nothing to lose.  Or if you happen to have a couple of 18650 cells to hand, well, that's what those Titans are.

I did consider that, but I never trust the measurements on the website (they normally have a statement somewhere saying there's a "margin of error") as they don't tend to take "it doesn't fit" as a reason the send it back ?

Their dimensions look right, as an 18650 is (wait for it...) 18mm in diameter (plus the wiring run down the side) and 65mm long.  Well, 65.0mm, thus 18650.

My gut feeling is it'll be too tight to fit in the gas tube of the e&l, although it might go under the dust cover.
