Is it possible to cut down a Mag so it's shorter?

So the Umarex Legends M1A1 mag is longer than standard. I want it to be shorter and more accurate (also for a pulse rifle build) This is a Co2 based mag

Do you think it's possible to cut say an inch or so off the bottom and still have it function in some way?

That's for an airgun, not an airsoft gun.

Airguns and airsoft are two completely different things. If you're after airguns, you're in the wrong place. The Umarex Legends M1A1 is an AIRGUN not an AIRSOFT gun.
