I'cs m41a carbine good scope info

Hi just got myself a m4 1a carbine full metal and want a nice looking scope on it but not to sure what to get looks wise and practical thanks

What would be the ranges you'd normally shoot people at ? If you do CQB I'd recommend going down the red dot route but for woodland a good mildot scope will work. What magnification would you want (if any) ?

whatever scope works ok or a bit taller to get over a fixed sight up front if your M4A1 has one still

still using old iron sights but then my aim is crap so its my excuse if I fail to hit big barns etc...

Also depends on budget.

Personally I like a x4 zoom for woodland.

Its more useful for spotting than aiming as such but at least you can see where your BBs are hitting.

Depends on the look you want ? how far back you mount it, eye relief etc..

I'd recommend an aimpoint or eotech with a flip-to-side magnifier.

That way, you can choose when you want some magnification.
