ICS M4 RIS????

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what RIS/RAS units will fit on the ICS M4A1 as there seems to be a major compatibility issue with some.

Get the ICS RIS, ICS tend to only be compatible with ICS unfortunately.

It'll cost you about £50 I think. I think Wolf Armouries sell the ICS rail kits.

Most G&P units will fit - the threads are the same. You usually only need to remove the two little lugs on the ICS outer barrel to get the delta ring on - a two minute job with a junior hacksaw! Other RIS may fit with little or no modding, but it's a bit hit and miss.

I just put a Noveske RIS on a plastic ICS upper, but the threads were different. Luckily it was a metal RIS vs plastic upper - so by tightening the delta ring a couple of screws it re-threaded the plastic Couple of turns, remove and blow off plastic shavings, repeat until fully on

Thanks will try and find a G&P unit but if not then I'll go for the ics
