I'm thinking of treating myself to this beast for Christmas ICS L85 except I'm going to get a 20mm adaptor to raise the ACOG a bit, to make it look right.
But I want to make a sort of DMR out of it; FPS up to 450 and limit to Semi etc.
Then, I can just pop in a weaker spring and turn it back into a close/mid range thing, a jack of all trades gun is what I'm aiming for here.
What can I do, hop up, barrel and gearbox/spring wise, to get it to DMR specs? I know it has the ICS split gearbox, is that likely to cause me any grief? I've never worked on gearboxes before so you'll have to spell everything out in full.
