Hello, I'm Darren and am new to the airsoft scene.

I'm a lifelong martial artist ( qualified to teach Muay Thai and Eskrima ) and run a small Eskrima class.

I'm also a member of the 501st UK Garrison, and costume as clonetroopers, Sith Acolyte and more recently a 2012 Dredd Judge.

After many of my mates in the UKG have told me how much fun airsofting I decided to go for it.

With some spare Xmas cash I've gotten a Well Sig552 AEG ( don't know if it's a decent first choice ).

I've been told how addictive this hobby is, so I'm looking forward to becoming hooked ^_^

Welcome to the forums, Darren :lol: yeah, addictive is one word which fits - tell your wallet to get used to being slimmer... Best to talk to people on here before spending any more money - run your ideas past us - there are some really unscrupulous wankers out there whose sole business model is ripping off noobs. This is my introduction thread, which is my opinion on what to do/get to begin airsoft without wasting any money.
