Hi all, me and my brother are looking to get into airsofting. We are both used to back yard battles with guns that we bought pre vcra. They are not two tone but are pretty decent springers and I own a cheap g36c aeg. Would we be allowed to use these at venues? I was thinking of upgrading the g36 with an improved barrel and gear box and was looking for guides on how to do this. Are most aeg's of similar build? Thanks for looking, will be searching the forum for more info
You will be allowed to use them, but whether they will be any good is doubtful. Upgrading cheap budgest guns just doesn't work, on top of that you'd be spending more on the gun that it originally cost.
If you're looking for something skirmishable then you will be paying £100+ for a gun.
