`Gun stops firing

Hi All,

Any idear on what the following issue may be caused by?

Stipped down an m4 gearbox and it stops firing after approx 30 shots, there is a sort of clicking noise  of which is the trigger moving backwards and forwards. If i turn the selector to safe semi then back to auto it starts to fire again, only to repeat the above and thous is on semi and full auto.

What’s the gun to start off with? Did this start after you tinkered with the ‘box or before?

Cut off lever isn’t resetting properly, give it a bit of lube and it’ll reduce the recurrence of the problem.
