Presumably for cqb to give you a bit of extra stability and make it into a handy carbine that's even lighter than a roni?

Wow cheers guys my googlefoo isnt up to standard and because i want a super liteweight mini carbine

Pro Airsoft Supplies have all sorts of silly kits for pistols, AKS and other guns. They do look cool, but IMO tottaly pointless in most cases
