Hi Guys, I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction.

My mates 1911 has had a problem where it shoots fine for a couple of shots but the slider sort of jams up and then releases all the gas. The slider feels jammed up so you need a little more force than normal to put it back, The piston moves freely when this happens.

I've tried cleaning it all and re-greasing with some light grease.

Piston moves freely most of the time, Maybe a little too much? Plastic seems to catch in the runners of the piston housing from time to time when the slider is off. Maybe this is causing it not sure if it's normal?

The piston seems to move too easily? Maybe changing the O ring would be helpful?

It does this will all 3 mags.

Cheers
