Is there any other mount that would fit onto a G&G GR14, I have been told that other makes need modifications done to them so that they fit the GR14.

yes.

There should be a threaded screw hole on the left hand side of the gun. Just above the mag well.

You can fit the standard M14 rail adapter into it.

Amazon have them for under £20. But If you look about you might find one cheaper.

If you mean a full front end RIS then G&G actually used to make one for the Gr14, not sure how well it fits on the wood model, In essence it looks identical to the Cyma M14 RIS that is available for about £45.

Will a CYMA one fit.

No idea, but at £45 and with a dremmel and some aluminium black you can make anything that gets in the way vanish.

Or you could just be careful when you try to install it so it can go back to the store if needed. At £45 I'd risk it because the G&G one looks to be the same.

I've had older G&G discontinued parts from other companies before, Recently I got some sights for a G&G GR300 and G&G don't make them any more, but the A&K ones are identical to the G&G ones. I can't see G&G making a M14 and changing the layout significantly. You can trawl the forums for an answer, but you might never find one.
