g&g cm16 raider l ( non pbb version)

hey guys just a quick question my raider l will feed perfect off the g&g high cap it came with but miss feeds like crazy off any other mag i picked up some king arms mid caps and wont feed tried a few p mags at a skrim yesturday same issue wont even work on other brands of high caps as i tried a king arms and a ics high cap aswell.

any ideas why? i heard that g&g's are designed to only feed properly with there own brand of mags ( with the factory hop unit in ofcoarse) is this true ?

G&G's are very picky with magazines, my friends Pmags work fine in his CM, but another friend can't get them to feed at all.

King arms mags are also picky with that they work with.

Next skirmish ask around and see if you can borrow a mag or two, I think MAG mag's work fine but don't quote me on that.

I bought a couple of flash mags (for M4/M16) from proairsoftsupplies and they work fine in the G&G combat M4. Also bought a couple of hi-caps online and had no problems. Not tried any mid-caps with it yet.

i tried my mid caps a mates beta prject pmag and emags also ics and king arms high caps im gunna be swapping the hop unit out for a ultima hop unit so fingers crossed that sorts the issue with only feeding of g&g mags

It's not, it's the way the mag catch is I believe. But give it a try and post up how it goes

could u elaberate as if theres a mod i cld do to my king arms mags / mag catch then it wld save me £40 lol

Cutting/Adding plastic to the mag catch to get them to fit, then taping the magazine. They're a few of the mods I've heard of.

right just to let u all know its sorted now i marked up the mags and they all fitted in the same so no luck there then a light bulb struck i had replaced the bucking from the original to a madbull blue so i took it all apart again the re assembled and presto works fine so i can only conclude that i hadnt seated the bucking correctly when i first installed it
