Full size Deans vs mini

I guess the minis would have slightly less contact area but would they still be better than the stock mini-Tamiya?

I have mini Deans at the moment and wondering if its worth changing them for full size ones instead.  (I'd rather not of course)

Mini Deans are fine. If you're going to change them for anything, then try XT60.
