Full Metal Gas Pistols

Ok so I am currently using a WE M9A1 as my sidearm. As you know the weather is pretty darn rubbish this time of year and so I decided to use winter gas. So far so good, as I can shoot off just about a mag worth of bb's then the gas runs out. However I could like to shoot off over a mag worth as I feel this is a waste of gas.

Any tips on improving the gas consumption in cold weather for a full metal pistol??

Make sure the mag is war when you use. So keep in your pocket or something. Other than keeping it war you can't do much.

my kj p226 does this i just cram one of them single use hand warmers in the mag pouch on the front of my drop leg holster and it works a treat!!
