Free Float or S-system RIS

Hi,

Looking at getting a RIS for my M4 but cannot decide between a Free Float and a S-System style

so would anyone care to discuss the pros and cons

(not interested in price/availability or what make atm just the rails themselves thanks)

Obv free float.

Simply because it isn't an S-System rail set. :lol:

I just think the free float looks better, I also like how it doesn't add anything on top of the receiver, so your optics don't end up higher than they need to be, I think it gets a bit awkward when they're raised.

I imagine a free float will weigh less as well.

okay cheers, looking at some pics i think a S type would look a bit odd with the para stock but the free float would look better as it has a more rifley look about it

I do prefer fre float on looks and weight but s system in strength

make sure it includes lots of barrel/rail bolts.my first free float wiggled like nobody's business.
