First timer

Hi, I’m about to get my lad his first pistol, he’s after a Colt 1911 or a Glock 18. I’m clueless with this stuff and don’t want to end up buying a crap version, so I’m after recommendations please.

You can't go wrong with a WE or Tokyo Marui. I'm very happy with my WE G19.
