personally, black ops was one of my favourite cod games, however cod 4 etc, I never was that good at, but it was a great game. black ops was where I loved SnD. Black ops 2 was the last straw, I have a hint of nostalgia, however selling my playstation was the best thing I have done in terms of grades.

FPS games should ALWAYS be played on PC. Console versions are pish compared to the GLORIOUS PC GAMING MASTER RACE (sounds of golden horns and choirs of angels in background)!

Anyone that says Modern Warfare am bestest Call of Duty has clearly never played the original. Crossing the Volga river then being given not a gun, but a clip of ammo and being expected to run towards the enemy or be shot by your own officers.....proper hardcore. The original Medal of Honor - doing the D-Day landings. Awesome moments of history captured in games in a way not seen since.

Best Rainbow Six? Raven Shield. By a country mile.

Payday 2 is awesome; Robbing banks n' shit, although half the playerbase are twats.

Battlefield is good, if you want 64 player servers filled with noobs spraying for shit.

Insurgency is a great tactical, hardcore shooter.

Another game i play is contract wars which is a web based game that runs on unity 3d engine, and i have to say, the graphics and gameplay are absolutely outstanding for a browser game. It is currently the best browser game anyway. I have 600 hours on it (not including standby time, it's pure gameplay time).

Counter Strike: Global Offensive for PC. Modern Warfare 3/Bad Company 2 tied for console. I need to play Battlefield 3 and 4, though. I remember the beta tests for both and they were pretty fun, so I hope the full games are just as fun.

BF3 and 4 are great (ignore the haters). BF4 was no more broken on launch than 3 was when it launched and it's all fixed now.

COD is brill & crap - depends on your own personal choice

I liked BLOP's 1 - guess coz I found it easier for a noob to get back into

much slower than MW - MW2 was great even just on spec op missions

(favela juggernauts - crazy stuff)

Loved Black on orig xbox/ps2 & even earlier was MOH on psx - jeez

Alas never got into PC gaming really - unless you count Doom/Wolfenstein oldies

But these days the general thought is online gaming or it ain't "proper" gaming

luckily - there are so many games you are bound to find something you enjoy

I often find myself harping on about the "good old days" and the "Glorious PC Gaming MASTER RACE" (and I shall continue to do so - it's just my thing) but that right there? That's the crux of the matter. Games, they're for fun. Not for arguments or (in the case of some high profile nastiness going on at the minute) death threats against people for suggesting that maybe we should treat people in video games a little more evenly.

I've changed my mind on PAYDAY2, not all players are twats in the game trying to kick you for no reason, it's mainly the lower levels unsurprisingly.
