English players buy on Hong Kong shops ?

Did use to buy most of my kit from HK but since the pound nose dived against the dollar unless it’s a ridiculously huge discount on the item it’s just not worth it anymore , as you get absolutely butt f**ked with the P&P costs so buy most of my kit from the likes of Taiwan Gun now .

PS English is a bit stilted , BUT understood what your talking about , which is more than can be said about half the thick twats in this country ! ?

I would be interested in knowing a list of reliable  HK shops you have used.  I have used Ehobby, WGCshop, airsoftglobal and airsoft.tiger111hk and have had good results for parts I can not find in the UK and Europe.

reason I ask is on a pistol from HK I’d be surprised if it’s under £25 (we put the currency symbol BEFORE the number , bloody continentals! ?‍) so would more than cancel out any savings . ?

It's cheaper on KYAirsoft for France. All shops have different costs and i don't know why...

Note : Example was for UK shipping.

Other example : TM USP GBB on Rainbow8, £20 to your door.

Other problem we have over here is the Gov approved carrier Parcelforce will intercept any international mail , work out if there’s any import duty on it AND with out your consent pay it and then charge you £13 for doing it ! So you have to pay this on top of how ever much the vat was . You could try and contest it but it’s just not worth the hassle .?

No, but something as big as a RIF in a box is more likely to get picked up than something small.  If you search the forum you can find differing experiences.

KYairsoft; I've used them before and they were find but the postage is on the expensive side. Plus as others have said once Customs add to it and the parcel delivery company chuck their extra on it starts to be just as expensive as here (generally).

Still somethings are still worth it because of the low price (of some Rifs like WE Apaches for example) or just because you don't see the specific model stocked over here (never see OD WE Glocks).

The main bummer with KY (lol... bum lube pun) is they have all the spare parts on tap but the postage makes it not worth it for small items, only rifs.

I'm naming WE products as examples as that is what they specialise in for anyone that doesn't know them.

Thats pretty much the only ones I would trust bar Airsoftglobal as never used them.  1. WGC 2. Ehobby 3. Tiger in that order.

I’ve now attempted 4 or 5 orders from Airsofttigger111hk... I’ve had 1 thing delivered successfully, one eventually arrived after I had an argument with them because it was in stock, then it wasn’t and then when I put a claim in it became magically in stock again.. and 3 I’ve cancelled because they messaged days later saying they didn’t actually have what I gotta wanted.

WGC is fantastic. Ordered 3 times with no issue. 

Ehobby I think  ive ordered once with no issue. 

No idea about the others

Tiger you need to email beforehand and make sure they have stock otherwise I have had no issues from them.  WGC are excellent.  Shame their shop was closed when I was in HK.

I used to always buy from Hong Kong shops back before the VCR and UKARA came into play. Haven't since then. The old days when you could buy a RIF get it shipped and pay £20 to customs for opening it and checking that it wasn't a real firearm and away you went.

Seems kinda pointless now, back in the day and a 2:1 dollar it was dirt cheap to buy from dentrinity and the like, but with shipping, getting caught for vat and parcelforces fee it hardly seems worthwhile now. Even poland is just about as expensive as here for a lot of things.

I’ve used KYairsoft for parts for my WE rifles, UK suppliers seem to never have stock is all. 

Item came quick but P&P wasn’t the cheapest and in the end paid about the same for something from the UK. 

I think it it has been said above but places like Taiwangun, Airsoftpro and Begadi are where I get most of my stuff from now.
