Editing ads after sales

On other forums it is not possible for the OP to edit original sales posts,this was to prevent sellers editing the ad after the sale has been completed in case a dispute arose,could this be considered as a possibility?  I noticed a recent sale where the seller had edited the body of the ad and changed it for "SOLD".

This is in now way a dig at the seller just a recent example....cheers.

I agree.  Removing the whole add and pictures always looks suspicious.  A simple Sold post and edit of title to included  the word SOLD is sufficient.  Moderators can see it and close the topic, and the original details are kept.
