CYMA Battery

Hi all, I'm looking to take my CYMA gun to my local airsoft venue however, the one battery that came with the gun was a rechargeable 7.2v 350mah with an unusual proprietary connecter. Unfortunately, I am struggling to find extra batteries to allow me to change them while at the venue. So, my question is, how long is that 350mah battery likely to last out in the field with semi and full auto?

One of the AEPs, I assume.  They shoot about 200fps as stock so will struggle outside of CQB.

The other option is to wire it for using standard cheap lipos.  I use teeny 350mah JST connector lipos, but you can go with Deans instead.  It's a simple process that just needs a basic soldering setup.

I'd urge you not to sink too much money into an AEP though, as you'll never get the performance of an AEG out of it, or the fun factor of a GBB.

Its a CYMA CM.023 MP5-Looking Sub Machine Gun.

It was part of a mystery box I bought as something fun to use for target practice, I just ended up liking that so figured I could take it to a site. I have read a few people dislike the CM.023 for being inaccurate, but with a decent reflex sight I've got it zeroed in to the point I could hit a target in the chest every time from a little distance away while ADS, although I wouldn't be shooting the winds off a fly any time soon haha

With the sight and an offset mounted torch, its gave an otherwise light airsoft gun a bit of weight behind it and "realistic"

Going on site would be my first experience but I'm positive I'd enjoy it, however, I'd want to enjoy it for the whole day, not just as long as the 350mah battery would last lol

Wow, that is weird, both in form factor and connector.  That's not a funny looking mini-Tamiya?

If the stock battery is indeed 60mm x 30mm x 10mm and that's all she'll take, then I'd suggest these:

And rewire the gun to JST to match, or rewire the gun and all the batteries to Deans / XT-60 / mini Deans.  Factor in that you'll need a lipo balance charger to charge them up.

Rewiring the gun should be a matter of minutes with a soldering iron and some heat shrink.  You may even find someone at your site willing to do it for a token consideration.

Also look at VapexTech. They have some smaller sizes that Hobby King dont have.

Look for 7.2v and highest mAh that can fit.

Around 1300mAh should last a whole day but might be worth getting two smaller ones.

I had that connector on two box mags (one M4 and one M14 the ones that look like 2mags strapped together) and they both used identical battery packs , I just cut them off and stuck a 9volt battery connector on instead .
