I'm kinda new to airsoft and wanted to know if you could paint over an airsoft gun and make it like camouflage two tone because airsoft world sell one of their guns in two tone tiger camouflage

If you have a valid defence (such as ukara), yes you can :)

You cannot paint 2-tone weapons in any way if you don't have a UKARA registration. Tbh, I don't see why you'd want a gun painted in 'tigertone' anyway, it looks a lot worse than normal 51% bright colour deal. Normal 2 toning can look decent sometimes, although it's nothing compared to RiFs (Realistic Imitation Firearms)

Can a mod move this to legal?

The law states that you cannot paint a twotone into an RIF (black or camo) unless you have a defence. A defence is not limited by age, so in theory, if you keep a diary of when you go, signed off by a games marshal, then you have a valid defence to show that you go airsofting regularly. Therefore, you should be allowed to paint it black etc.

Or the simply method: cover your gun in camo tape and remove at the end of the day.

If you have a defence, yes. Or yeah, as Zack said, camo tape is only like £4-£8 a roll, saves time and hassle. A defence is still needed though, unless it's only on while your at a site, BUT it has to be removed after, if you have no defence.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, please stop spouting this UTTER RUBBISH it's getting really old.

UKARA IS NOT A LEGAL REQUIREMENT, IT IS A RETAILERS ASSOCIATION AND NOTHING MORE!!!!

Being able to prove that you are a regular skirmisher is all that is required to manufacture a RIF. By that I mean that you need documentary evidence that you are a regular skirmisher, be it a skirmish diary, your local site having your name on file etc. UKARA makes buying RIFs much easier, clearly as everywhere accepts it as a proof of defence, but it is NOT a requirement.
