Ive been looking into getting some camo tape to cover up the bright orange stock of my l96, I wondered what the best one is to get the most coverage & for it not to leave a stickey residue after removing it.

These are the ones I have found so far:

As the stock is quite a strange shape would applying the tape be a problem? I would like to get full coverage so no orange can be seen on any parts.

Thanks :)

Why not get a cheap DPM shirt or 2 and make a rifle cover, that's removable, leaves no residue etc, and is reusable :) this is what I am planning to do to my snow wolf sw-10

Edit just had a thought a pair of dpm trousers would be far better and easier :)

I have used Web-Tex DPM camo tape on my SW-10. Looks rather neat now, and gets rid of that hideous blue.

You can kinda see it on my profile picture. I don't have a way to upload images onto the net right now, apart from Facebook...........

have you had a look at the self cling tape these only stick to itself. not the weapon.

the other is the proper hunting camo tape (camo form) which i used on my hunting rifle its was a nice black but wanted it in camo but did not want to pay the extra for the paint job. That was on for about 2 years and no marks to my surprise.

the cling tape may give it a perfect look for a ghillie suit and the tape is easy to cut so you could panel it and make it look more like a paint job?
