best 1911?

hi there, yesterday i got the opportunity to have a little look at a 1911, and it felt realy comfy in my hand, so i wanna know what a good reliable make is... i dont care about the design, whether its WWII style or modern style...

how does it perform in the cold?

Mine gets almost all 27 shots out, however when its cold I only put 18-20 in so it always locks back

I've got a TM MEU and i love it, but as well i only put in 15-20 rds as standard, but it still feels beautiful.
