Hi guys, got an aps patriot, & it's got a kooky "drum" rear stock, it's only purpose being to hold a big battery, it's good for nothing else, & I can't stand it, wanna fit a bog standard rear stock of some sort, but when you remove the rear drum it leaves you with a hole, the like of which I've never seen on an m-series aeg.

ive tried googling but can't find a suitable part to allow me to attach a buffer tube or similar, wondered if anybody else attempted this ???.

TIA

Mark

Pretty sure you'll need a buffer tube, sling plate (to cover the rear end of the receiver) and then the world is your oyster.
