Hi guys just some advice. Is the agm hk416 with full metal body any good?

The reason i ask is because it looks to be a good project gun.

Are they reliable etc as stock or are their anythings you guys could advise!

from what I can remember when i researched into them a bit about 6 months ago, they seem to be alright. suffer from occasional total fail like many clones do. also have wierd springs that can give 30fps difference on chrono'ing

Yes i have also read about total failure but i was trying to find out what gearbox upgrades and hop up you could get if any as its a decent looking rif and could look a seriouse bit of kit as it is full metal has a ris kit etc and it is only 140 odd quid so there is money left over to seriously pimp it up and have it as a back up or occasional woodland primary!

it takes a standard V2 gearbox. internally it is basically just an M4..... which is FANTASTIC news
