I was dry firing my A&K Masada and suddenly the sound was more like a crack than a thud when I was firing. I tried firing some bbs through it, it cycles and sounds like it should fire but nothing leaves the barrel (I have tried a few magazines). The bbs weren't even able to push past the hop rubber so they just jammed up behind it. I took the barrel off to find that when I was firing the air nozzle wasn't even moving when firing. I also found that the slider for the hop up had snapped off.

What I wanted to know is what has happened here? I'm guessing if the air nozzle isn't even moving then it's probably going to something inside the gear box but I'm not sure.

Oh, I have the CNC hop up chamber and air nozzle if that makes any difference.
