1911 trigger sensitivity

I have a TM 1911 MEU which is fine and dandy but for one thing. When it's cocked the trigger is SOOOO sensitive I ended up with one negligent discharge into my own leg and another into a team mates back (which led to a huge degree of hilarity and piss-taking). Wearing gloves means that it's very easy to catch the trigger getting my finger into the trigger guard.

How can I adjust it to be less twitchy?
