The blue two tone painted was gone half an hour after delivery lol. The g&g mid cap I got with it is shite and the upper cover is loose. The loose cover is an easy fix and I've got some other mags on the way ???

I don't think its fitted with a mosfet as stock so I'm guessing not. I'm ok at soldering and stuff put would rather than pull apart a new gun just for that. I can live with NIHM until the warranty had expired lol 

Hi guys.  I've just bought and RK47 and was wondering if it will handle LIPO batteries.

I already have a few foregrips etc to fit to a normal rail and mlok accessories seem to be harder to get such as torches lasers etc. I know you can get adapters but it seems easier to replace the handguard.

I presume it is a straightforward swap. Was going to look into it further when I do the internals. Also want to swap the arp9 stock for a standard crane stock to be able to use bigger batteries.

Im happy with the hand grip at the moment but am going to look at changing the hand guard from mlok to ris.

TBH it's a fairly easy upgrade that as long as I'm careful can't go too wrong. I know G&G are meant to be pretty good as stock but I don't mind spending a bit of money and time to see if I can get it better. Don't believe in binning old stuff that still works as you never know when you'll...

As best I can with my limited experience yes lol. Problem is the BBs are going all over the place so it's difficult to dial in my ACOG.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll got for the plastic hop up unit and the bucking and nub you recommended as well. Need to get my raider shooting a bit more consistently.

I was thinking the metal one would be more solid but is there much in it between the metal and plastic versions? With regard to the bucking, I may be asking a stupid question, but does the hop rubber you recommended come with a nub or would that be separate?

That's a pity, but the mag problem with the v1 is easily fixed with a bit of bodging from the utube vids before I bought mine. I also had no problems removing the flash hider which was another big complaint about the UAG.

Is that the v2 or v1. I have the v2 uar which is rear wired and works with my nuprol mid cap mags perfectly. It was mainly the front wired v1 that had issues with mags I think.

I quite like the idea of flecktarn or tiger stripe so I might see what ebay has to offer.  Situational awareness plays a big part and I have to admit my SA is not the greatest, but some people just don't have any at all lol.

Just thought I'd get some thoughts on this. I am a big soldier 95 DPM fan and don't think MTP works in a normal english woodland during the winter months. However, I don't think it so good for bright summer days. As MTP is brighter I'm wondering whether this would work better for sunny woodland...

Yup I was extremely careful about getting the polarity right. My soldering is not great but it did the job. I did a partial disassembly as the fuse is slotted inside next to the hop up and not easy to get to and it had blown. Not sure how but it's now back together and I've put two mid caps...
