VFC HK417 gbb venting its gas?!

I was using abbey predator ultra gas, I think it may be a lubrication issue. What grease would you guys suggest? I've got some grease called plastilube from work which we use to stop brake squeal on brake pads will that be ok or too heavy to use? Steve

VFC HK417 gbb venting its gas?!

Hi I hope I've put this in the right section, my vfc hk417 gbb arrived today however upon testing it, it fires 2 or 3 rounds but then vents all the gas that's in the mag out of the barrel? What can cause this and is it a fault with the gun? I'm new to gbb's so unsure if it's something I've done...

If you use dutycalculator.com it will tell you what VAT and duty you'll end up paying precisely and will work out a "landed cost" so you can work out if it's cheaper to import

    Rsov.com

Taiwangun and gunfire don't stock what I'm after so (vfc hk417 gbbr) and it's looking like I'll be ordering from rsov or aegcartasia. What was the shipping time on a RIF when you ordered from rsov?

    Rsov.com

Has anyone ordered a RIF from these guys before? I'm always wary of buying from Hong kong but it's so much cheaper than here even factoring in VAT and import fees. Cheers, Steve

    What does "Asia edition" mean?

Right I think I've cracked it, there both exactly the same FPS wise as everywhere that sells it says between 360-380 FPS. But the difference I've noticed upon very close scrutiny is that the EU version says cal. 6mm BB on the right side above the pistol grip in medium sized white writing whereas...

    What does "Asia edition" mean?

It's licensed by Umarex so I'm pretty sure it will have the correct trademarks on it, so I can't imagine it's that.

    What does "Asia edition" mean?

From what I've read the vfc 416 isn't that great but the 417 is a big improvement. Plus WE don't make a 417. Thanks jcheeseright, if I get an Asia edition are the internals the same as an EU spec but tinkered with to get the higher fps and therefore under more strain? I'm new to the GGBR world...

    What does "Asia edition" mean?

Hi, I'm looking at buying the VFC HK417 GBBR for my next rifle but it's available in an Asia edition version and just wondering what the difference is? I know this rifle is available in a German edition as that's locked to semi auto only. Any help would be appreciated before I go sinking some...

    Aegcart Asia

Has anyone had any experience of ordering a RIF from these guys? Everyone seems to be ordering mags from there without any troubles. It seems to be the only place that has stock of the VFC HK417 GBBR I'm wanting. Thanks guys.

    Yet another UKARA question....

Thanks, all the info gathered here has helped massively.

    Yet another UKARA question....

So it's the general concensous that the site will put you on the database rather than a retailer? It's quite confusing as all the info online to do with UKARA states that the form is sent to a retailer with first order. Another question is would I have to be a paid up member of the site? In my...

    Yet another UKARA question....

Thanks for the reply, sorry if I'm being unclear. As I understand it I go to my site 3 times ect which is Cerberus then your supposed to send your completed form off to whomever I wanted to order my RIF from. But as I'm wanting to order from a non UKARA registered retailer (defined by the list...

    Yet another UKARA question....

when it comes to UKARA when you have your completed form can I send it and be registered onto the UKARA database without buying a RIF from them? I ask because I want to order a hk417 from gunfire.pl as it's the cheapest I've found by far, but They can't put new players onto the database...

    tacticalgeartrade.Co.uk

As mack says definitely Hong kong based, I've ordered from them and had problems, paid for my order then got harassed for more postage as their website under quoted me, then part of the order wasn't even in stock even though was showing as being in stock. When I finally got my order it was...

Trouble fitting G27 grip to VFC M4es

Hi, so I bought a new element G27 grip for my VFC M4es recon, the grip fits onto the gun fine but I'm having trouble with the motor as instead of the motor base plate sitting flush with the bottom of the grip it sits right up inside it thus pushing the motor right in so no adjustment and no...
