    SATA II or SATA III? Harddrives are like a few quid difference but sata III is a lot faster. Also you only need 60-120GB for an OS drive. Yeah BF3/4 you're looking at over £200 for a GPU, otherwise you're just better off with a console.

    Depends on how you do it. If you turn it down. Mill / Lathe etc and then put a crown on it. Will be fine. If you use a hacksaw you may run into problems. Although still possible. Also how far you cutting it? Piston sizes may need to be changed if you're cutting down to like 100m etc

    Why you using maplins? They cost far more than they need to be. And the 650 is a very basic graphics card btw

    Depends what program you are using. you can pick up a 6 core AMD for the price of a i5. And if you can't use multiple cores with that program Intel would be better
