    Need help with second AEG

If the only issue with the CM16 is that it's 2-Tone, why not just swap out the parts that are coloured? (Assuming you've got UKARA now). The stock and the front end are both very easy to swap around. If the body is what's painted - you can buy a new Reciever for approx £50 There's some pretty...

    Savezone Shooting Glasses

I wouldn't (personally) wear my Full Face in the SZ. I have a bulky Hockey Mask style for game play, but I've a pair of Shooting Glasses I'll be putting into a pouch for swapping into after the game. It never really occurred to me before reading the Word of Warning thread. The ones I have are...

Word of warning - serious eye wound in safe zone

In my experience, it's not necessarily younger players; but less experienced players. I've seen guys who are old enough to know better, doing stupid things in Airsoft because it's "just a game" and they don't realise how serious (or dangerous) it can be - just as much as seeing younger (but...

Word of warning - serious eye wound in safe zone

Good thing there was someone (albeit a player, not a marshal) who was there quick enough to help. Goes to show that even in that 'Safe' Zone, eye pro is a good idea. I know a few people who wear Shooting Glasses in the SZ. After this I'm thinking it'a good idea to do the same. All it takes is...

    Help with combat unis

I think Multiglam tends to be pretty expensive. If you want cheap, DPM is the way to go. Can get a full set (trousers, shirt and smock) for around £60 if you shop around.

    Help with combat unis

Can't help much on the BDU's, but as a rig I use an LA Assault Vest. Comes in pretty much any camo you'd want and is adjustable. I'm fairly skinny too and it does me fine. Normally about £20 for a vest. Can happily carry 12x M4 Mags and a few extra bits. They're not Tacticool, but mine has...

    M4 receiver compatibility?

For the most part, yes. Check that the Reciever your looking at will fit the CYMA; some companies do have slight variations in parts that makes things a bugger to fit.

spinal damge would playing a sniper work best

As Scarathe said, Stock Snipers are pretty much the same as stock AEG's. They put you at a disadvantage as they aren't as user friendly (compared to AEGs..in my opinion), and to get them to suitable as a Sniper they take a LOT of work and money. Personally, I'd never recommend playing as a...

    Buffer tube inner diameters?

Assuming it uses a normal M4 Reciever, you shouldn't need an adaptor to fit the buffer tube. M4 stocks screw directly into the back of the reciever, so they can (usually) be swapped out fairly easily. I didn't have to change anything on my M4 and I've swapped the stock twice. :-)

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

I meant I can get trigger happy to burn through all the .20 I have now - so I don't waste it. But normally I'm pretty good. I'm that guy who always carries 12 mags but only uses 2. But I have to have the spares.....just incase! I realise it was a contradiction though. That's me all over.lol.

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

I'm not particularly trigger happy, but always willing to save a few pennies (Cheapsoft all the way!) Saw some G&G ones going cheaper than what I used to pay for Excel. Thanks!

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

Awesome. Thanks Prof ? I think I have some serious spending to do soon. Looking into some .25/.28 at the moment. Typical that my usual retailers seems to stock Excel as a standard. Bastard are pretty good, aren't they?

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll invest in some .28 first and see how they perform. Then upgrade the barrel etc next. Prof, you said "it your hop can handle it"? Is there issues with heavier ammo damaging hops?

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

I've always played with .2 Exel so never really knew any different. Heard recently about the benefit of heavier ammo, but I always assumed it was more of a benefit for DMR/Snipers etc.I'll def check it out. I haven't played in 7yrs and thing seem to have come a long way since I was a regular...

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

.20 Excel at the moment. But once all that's gone I was planning to go .25 and maybe a better brand. I can get a bit trigger happy and burn through a bag in no time! Thanks, Hudson. Well worth a look. Most of the front end is an integrated silencer (not even threaded, held by friction inside...

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

PT247: Currently running at ~300fps and the limit is 350. So I've got plenty of playing room. The current barrel is a JG Standard, so probably pretty pants quality. Thanks for the advice, I'll get looking around for the ones you mentioned :-) Edit: Just had a small heart attack at the price...

Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

Hi guys As mentioned several times recently, I'm a tech novice so don't have much of a clue about things like this. I've seen a lot of debate about Barrel Length affecting accuracy. (Don't groan...it's not that again). I'm keeping my M4 as a stubby, as I much prefer a shorter, more mobile...

What have you just 3d printed (for airsoft)

Would you consider printing these to order, Sp00n?I've been looking around for a decent RIS mount for my SOCOM for a while. I'd happily pay (within reason of course!) for one of these?
