    Best bbs?

Found Blasters, Devils and BAW all pretty good tbh. Only ones banned at my local site are any glass or aluminium ones (eg Madbull target bbs).

CYMA AK 47 Hi Cap problem

Give it a firm knock on a hard surface (such as a kitchen worktop, maybe wrap a tea towel round it to prevent marking the mag/worktop lol). This should then push the bbs up if they are still under tension. Sounds like a misformed bb or dirt.

    The GBBR Thread

Used my AK on the site range today, no cold related problems at all, emptied a full mag easily (on semi I should add) and range and accuracy seem good out past the 40m target barrel, barring hop creep (read: it loses hop altogether after about 5 shots lol), just a case of fitting some washers to...

I'm going to test my AKS74U on the range if nothing else, maybe a short game if lucky . . . :)

What gun should i get? New to airsoft :)

Umarex don't actually make any of those guns, they are chinese clones of other makes which Umarex rebrand with trademarks (H&K etc), although they are supposedly made with better quality control than the standard Jing Gong (or whatever make) versions. Also they are marked as 350fps+ so they...

Cheers, remember Ian Gere saying some PBS-4s are heavier than others, only concern is the gun is already a little front heavy, have you tried one?

+1 on that, have a Noveske Soundhog on mine currently and it is LOUD for an airsoft gun. No doubt I will get rinsed if I game with it so also intend to try a suppressor at some point lol! But the noise and the bolt flying back and forth is just the dogs danglies so far! :) As its currently...

    Ed, Let's play a game

Have to say I prefer it to the new Armex/Umarex Beretta ARX 160 which looks like a Scar L that ate all the pies. . . :) http://armex-airsoft.co.uk/display_weapon.php?id=1415375608

    A&K m60 box mag problems

Sounds like a plan. If its similar to mine there will be a tiny auto cut off microswitch where the bb feed tube exits the feed unit, which is activated by bb's passing it, and its this that caused most of my problems by either sticking open (burnt out mag motor) or shut (no bb's feeding). Hence...

Motor can't spin gears, clicking noise.

It may even be worth just replacing the bushings first, it could be that tollerances are out slightly causing a tight spot in the gear meshing, before splashing out on a motor though.

Motor can't spin gears, clicking noise.

No worries pal! Its difficult to say 100% what is causing a fault accurately without seeing it first but from your descriptions it does sound as though the motor is likely to be the culprit. A cyma motor is probably your best budget choice as they are good for the price, or possibly a SHS which...

Motor can't spin gears, clicking noise.

when you release the anti reversal latch the spring pushes the piston to the point of least resistance. Thus when you pull the trigger the motor has a few microseconds longer to build up torque and speed hence will fire, then if you stop firing, unless the spring is again under least resistance...

Motor can't spin gears, clicking noise.

Glad you find it helpful! AK gearboxes are Version 3 and the one Lozart listed is compatible, bear in mind it includes the motor too, compared to UK prices its a good price for a complete gearbox with motor. Anyhow the trigger contact switch has roughly parallel brass/ phosphor bronze...

I have 4 45rd mags for my AK which should be enough for me. Having played CQB with 1 40rd mag in my mini Uzi (and a pistol), but time will tell lol! :)

Motor can't spin gears, clicking noise.

I'd be surprised if it was the motor, but its a possibility. Equally it could be the trigger contacts or battery connector has some wear resulting in poor electrical contact, it would be worth checking them as it costs nothing to do so. Bushings come in different sizes (older guns generally...

    A&K m60 box mag problems

Any idea on the problem? I have had a Star M60 for 8 or 9 years, not sure how similar the box mags are to A&K but I had no end of problems within days of buying it, namely the box mag motor burnt out as the cut off switch didn't do its job. I then had to wait 2 months for it to be sorted...
