    AUG Para lower rail

Thanks @Pijon!  I've swapped the scope out for a red dot which suits it far more.  Unfortunately the fabric tape has started to peel after just one skirmish so I'll have to figure out something for that.  The flecktarn duct tape may hold better but doesn't look quite so nice.  Also not sure...

    AUG Para lower rail

That's super clean, I like it.  It's definitely a benefit having the foregrip placed further back (not that you had much choice with the short barrel!).  I'm gonna try a vert grip for my next skirmish day as wasn't really getting on with the angled one too much.

    Running the London Marathon

Good luck dude and have a great time out there.  At risk of getting a bit squishy, I'm sure you'll both support each other to the end and smash it.

    Halo screen ghillie suit material-

I've not done any Ghillie stuff myself, but have you looked at the Novritsch camo screen stuff?  Seems less expensive

    AUG Para lower rail

Another option that I found in my own research is this one - https://3d-crafts.com/product/airsoft-aug-front-double-side-rail/ I haven't ordered from that site myself though so don't know how good it is.  It looks neat though. If you wanna go fancy, and I was super tempted...then Corvus...

Military1st (Shipped Free to Scottish Highlands)

Alright guys, I just wanted to stick a quick note of appreciation in here for military1st.co.uk. They've got a good selection of gear at reasonable prices.  Well, the Condor gear I was looking into was far cheaper than Amazon at least.  I did see some stuff cheaper on sites like Bullseye...

    GBB Buying Advice

Well, I think I may have settled on the HK45 by TM. I do love the aesthetic of the USPc and was tempted to go for it to replace my old one, but it seems the non-compact version performs a little better out-of-box.  And if I'm going non-compact then I might as well go for HK45 which looks better...

    GBB Buying Advice

I'm happy to spend a little extra on TM to be honest.  the 100 was really just a baseline.  Just don't want to creep up into the 200 area. I'm kinda tempted to go for their USP.  My current (broken) USPc is still a lovely looking pistol and not one I've seen around much.  I'm guessing I'll have...

    GBB Buying Advice

I'll definitely take the trip at some point.  Nice to get out the house for the day, even if it is mostly driving  ;)

Oh I didn't know about Airsoft World!  Man, lots to check out. My AUG is currently sitting with KoA pretty much ready to pick up. Thanks for all the advice.  I may well see you in the new year

Useful things to know about the Umarex Sportline G36c

That's really cool.  I don't intend to get one, but the G36 is a monster and definitely what I would choose if I were looking. With that said, I may well take your work as inspiration for planning my AUG update, good work.

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Just buy 2! You can't possibly go wrong.  And look away from that link you posted, they may be selling 4 hangers in a pack, but they're mono-directional at best.

    GBB Buying Advice

I'll probably end up getting a metal slide anyway, just so I can pop it on for the feels ? And that's good advice @Enid_Puceflange but nah, I'll take some more time to think about what I really want (even tempted by the TM USP!) and then I may take a day trip to Edinburgh in the new year and...

    GBB Buying Advice

Thanks for all the advice guys.  I'm going to hold off on purchasing for now as I'll have to buy 2-tone anyway and end up spending later on the slide.  Might as well just pay once when I get the UKARA sorted. I'm willing to go a little over 100 and stump for a TM to be honest, it sounds like a...

Phantom AUG Conversion Kit - guide for a beginner

Oh man.  Nothing worse than trying to figure something out with missing pieces.  Glad you got it fixed though.  Post pictures!  I need inspiration for modding my Aug.

    GBB Buying Advice

Metal slide certainly isn't super important.  Especially up here in the cold north where we're going to be settling into Winter for the next 6 months probably. That aap-01 looks pretty cool with a nice upgrade path.  One site mentioned it's basically TM Glock internals?  I'll do more research...
