    Have you tested the gun with it fully built? It may not be a huge issue.  I am running a zci 229mm which seems to be fine however the lips need trimming for reliable feeding. It is also possible your hopup rubber is a anomaly and is a bit different to the rest.

    @Fatboy40it's also a cactus jack version of the m904. I believe there are 3 companies currently "making" the same gun.  I've noticed a bit of a drop in my fps lately too. Especially with the heavier ammo. Shooting about 0.88j on 28s but 1j on 20s. Let me know how you get on with the spring...

    I actually think it is more to do with the barrel more than anything. If I swapped to my default barrel it seems okay. I know people say that AK hopups are more of a pain.

    Little update, Played with it on Sunday - Has become a bit of a laser with a ML Yellow and a ZCI inner barrel. Took a little while for the rubber to break in but once it did the range and accuracy is there.

    Maple Leaf 60 degree AEG bucking - ZCI Plastic Rotary Hop up - ZCI 229mm barrel. Bucking too long

    Nibbled a bit off with your teeth? ? I tried the two other rubbers today. Seem to be okay but there was a drop in the fps. Swapped back to the shaved maple leaf and it jumped up again to 342 on 0.20. Also very consistent around that number. Playing tomorrow so will see how the maple leaf...

    Sorry I forgot to add that it would jam at points.  The force it needed to get by the bucking was quite a lot.
