Well my src 1911 MEU finally arrived from Poland yesterday, no hard carry case tho which is disappointing seeing as it's listed as coming with one, no real biggie tho as the rif itself seems to be working well and can't argue at the price for my first gbb sidearm

Finally got myself a decent rifle, should have some sneaky black parts for it in a coupe of weeks, included battery and charger are moot tho seeing as I already bought a couple of 7.4 lipo cells for it

I'd go for the general method of if it ain't broke then don't fix it tbh, if you don't plan on upgrading to lipo batteries I'd say there's not much point changing it until you have to

A little bit of jb weld epoxy might help as a permanent solution but it'll have to be somewhere hidden cos it won't be pretty, failing that the washer idea could work but it might move with use

A lot of hicapa parts are interchangeable apparently, there's a vid of a shop in the US showing them swap mags between different makes 

Like so, doesn't have to be functional if needs must so long as it looks better, the main draw being its already two toned so I can get it tomorrow and its at a discount that puts it within range of my wallet since gunfire have broken the dboys g001 I ordered so getting a refund on that one...

That would be a hell of a lot simpler but it's the gun end that's busted not the actual stock

Not sure that particular method would work as it's the hinge parts that have snapped off on the body so I'll need to  build up a couple of loops for want of a better word, I may have to use some sort of wire skeleton sunk into what's left of them with it tho, it may not work as intended but...

Anyone ever used epoxy putty to repair bodywork? I'm looking at picking up a boneyard g36c and the stock hinge is broken, still functions perfectly but can't lock without putting too much stress on it so it breaks again so I would like to fix it if possible

Might have to go for a refund instead an play the waiting game til patrolbase gets the specna back in stock I recon, kicker is with postage costs vs the price of two tone I won't actually be saving much, about 2 quid lol

Well so much for that idea, lite over a week after ordering I get an email telling me the dboy g-001 is broken and it's the only one they have so have to sack off the src 1911 and order the specna arms sa-g12 instead, hopefully I won't have any trouble with actually getting that one

On the other hand just watched the airsoft mike review on the airsoft innovations cyclone an that looks much more reliable, more initial outlay but I spose it works out cheaper in the long run not having to buy new shells for the thunder b

Tempting to get the starter pack to try them out failing that get a mounted launche, or both just for a laugh, shame the little cyma launcher is so hard to find these days

Has anyone use the co2 powered grenades before? The ones with the reusable firing mechanism and the polymer shell, I've seen them over on gunfire an debating getting a sample pack with my next prder

Good point, can't hurt to save a few quid, I already got some spare g36 mags as soon as I finally decided on that particular style
