Well, I've had it for a while, finally got around to installing it tonight, I must say that I really do like it.... The VFC 416 is the first AEG I owned (A1 version), but the quad picatinny rail is too 'stocky' for my play style (I use a c clamp grip mostly).  The SMR rail sorts this out...

Vortex strike eagle (1x6) imo is an excellent bit of kit for the money, especially if you get a airsoft repro mount for it to cut the cost down an bit.  The lifetime warranty is a massive bonus, i swap mine between my GBBR and RS .22lr...  It comes down to your comfort in dropping £200 on it...

Should be totally fine, you just have to put up with the impost fees and Royal Mail handling charge / tax ?

Refund recieved this morning due to PayPal case being raised last night....

I think its more the point that they delayed their response until i fell foul of their policies, then inferred that it was my fault (i'd requested a refund within 4 days)...  and also, if its not in stock, say so on your website.   And finally just refund your customers!!!

Finally put the finishing touches to my Agency Arms NOC build, really pleased with it.  Not something I'll skirmish with, mostly practical pistol..... Fully custom components.

I'll draw a line under this one, LWA squared it away pretty efficiently, but without any form of concern for the customer! I think I'll be staying away in the future and sticking with Rainbow8 and JKArmy etc.

Spoke to LWA, no real explanation or apology; however, they have dealt with the issue, replacement will be sent and postage costs covered. Still frustrating though.

I'll see what happens today. For parts I use alot of HK resellers, I've never really had problems, but it niggles me not to support UK businesses.   For this part LWA were more expensive, but went with it because I'd get it quicker etc. but when you get this level of service it makes me not...

Self confessed custom Glock fanboy, ordered a PTS Zev threaded barrel (circa. £100) for a forthcoming Zev build.  Sold as new from LWA....... What arrived was an item where the packaging had been opened  and chewed by a Rottweiler, barrel has clearly been used with protective wrapping...

....thought i'd share as a good solution, this has been driving me mad for ages!   Have been looking for a quick pull/speed plate to aid mag changes, couldn't find anything less the Magpul subgun rubber pulls, these work well, but i find them a little bulky and you cant lock the spring down...
