Slight update, the x range bucking is dead! I've done maybe 3000bbs through it and its chewed to death. I've gone back to the 4uad bucking and see if that lasts a bit longer.

I've tried the 4uad bucking and nub, but I don't think the bucking was too consistent which is wierd as they have been great in all my other stuff. I've got a modify x range and flat nub coming to try next, apparently they are getting decent reviews for this particular rif.

Has anyone else got one of these and if so, do you have any suggestions or tips/upgrades yourve found? Is the hop unit any good? I've heard some say that the hop arm adds a bit too much pressure on the left and makes bbs curve to the left at the tail end of their travel.

If the hop unit is similar to the MWS one, you need to turn it all the way off when you take the barrel and hop unit out and then turn the hop back on after reinstallation or you can miss the adjuster and not apply any hop no matter how much you turn the wheel.

There is a small white plastic shim and screw in the kit. You need to install that on the adaptor for the N4 to get a solid magwell fit.

I had this issue with the Noveske N4. Tried filing as directed above but the hop still wound itself off after a few mags. I solved it once and for all by ditching the stock hop adjuster for an archwick tdc one.

I picked up a 300 bb drum mag for my SMC9 and changed the inlet valve for an HPA tap. All worked great for about ¾ of a day and then it came loose and looks like I've stripped the threads in the mag. Has anyone else had this and if so, did you fix it or was it trashed and destined for the bin?
