    Grrr! Lost my supressor...

The one I personally use is this: http://www.leesprecision.com/collections/external-parts/products/cnc-machined-16mm-to-14mm-ccw-thread-adapter But any +16mm to -14mm adapter should work the same.

    Best weapons for Wet/Cold weather?

Any spring weapon will be fine in cold or wet conditions - just buy a shotgun. Or an mk23 - had no issues with mine over the winter months.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Avon Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray £3.39 for 150ml bottle. Fully intend to see if it works as a mosquito repellent and at such a low price it's got to be worth a shot.

The 'Gun Shopping List' Thread (aka 'The Dreamers Arms' Thread)

Ares WA2000 sniper rifle - I just love the look of this gun and I'm surprised there hasn't been more demand for a cheaper and more readily available version of this. CYMA M14 EBR - Would turn it into one of two projects. Either a dedicated DMR platform or a sub 350 fps yet highly accurate...

    Better name than Airsoft.

Glad I'm not the only one that caught that :D

    JG

I assume it's this one you're looking at? (Or a similar one anyway) http://www.airsoftworld.net/jg-ingram-mac-10-aeg-submachine-gun-with-silencer.html You're looking around 240-260 (average) on a good day after a thorough barrel clean. My mate has two that he dual wields at CQB sites - a lot...

My Gear, Guns, & Ammo [Pictures]

Nah I meant how well the scope held it's zero mate. Some cheaper scopes lose the zero after a while you see so I was curious to see how this one fared.

Things I wish I had known when I started....

How true is that :/ Related learning point: if someone is new to sniping with a high fps set up they likely won't know what 30 metres is for their minimum engagement distance. Expect some very painful hits from very close ranges. Learnt this from experience when a young lad (~13 years old) shot...

The scope you've listed, have you zeroed it? If so how well does it hold it? Might grab one for myself as I like that style of reticule.

    TOKYO MARUI VSR 10 UPGRADES?

This. I run a 300 fps bolt in my rifle when I fancy a challenge at a CQB site or want to be really quiet at a woodland site. As long as your hop is set correctly you can still be pretty effective with a lower fps rifle. Added bonus you have no minimum engagement distance on a sub 350 fps set up...

    Washing bb's

I only wash my sniper rifle BBs. Just to remove the grease that comes on them so it doesn't instead rub off going through the hop up. Soak in diet coke for fifteen minutes, another fifteen in soapy water and then left to air dry on a towel. It's easier and quicker cleaning the BBs in one go...

    phone protection

Stays locked in the car most of the time unless I'm expecting a call in which case I keep it in a shirt pocket under my chest rig/vest. Obviously with the screen facing my body. Also helps I have a cheap flip cover on it that is made of a very sturdy leather - unlikely to be broken by a BB.

    Places to shoot it out.

A proper tropical woodland/jungle with dense foliage leading to very CQB firefights. Also some clearings with structures in here and there to play capture/defend games. Think the jungle setting from the first predator film.

    Helmets - what's the opinion?

I tend to wear boonie hats and caps more than helmets in CQB but that's a choice I make about comfort over protection. You still feel the hits as if you weren't wearing one (especially with a boonie) but I've never had one leave an obvious mark to my skin even from close ranges. But helmets are...

Things I wish I had known when I started....

Things I wish I had known before I started or when I was new: 1. "There's a good reason why some guns are priced at £50 and others are priced over £100." Yeah that Double Eagle G36C didn't buy itself... luckily I also brought a Double Eagle M56B shotgun at the same time. 2. "Just because...

    Gloves, talk to me

RAP4 Fingerless Armoured Paintball Gloves Cost me £4 and I've had them close to two years with some wear but still protect my hands as well as the day I bought them.
