Both are pretty good could get either but get a TM one.

The hi-capas support 50 round magazines which can be useful.

Hi-Capa but that's because I own one.

Having owned the FNX45, its an OK gun to run, performance like most other gas blowback pistols and it does stand out, but as far as practicality goes, there is a reason the hicapa is the main pistol speed gays use as its light, great upgradability and debatably the best pistol out there. But at the end of the day as long as you have a good primary if you really like the look of the FNX go for it bud. One stand out feature of the FNX is that the gas wells in the mags are very nice and big. Hope this helped :)

Thanks guys. The TM Hicapa is looking like the winner here! I had a WE one a few years ago, so I'll be keen to try the TM one. Any upgrades that are worth getting right away?

FNX-45. I've always loved the design over hi-capas.

Thanks @rocketdogbert. It's good to get a viewpoint from people who own/have owned both. What makes the HC delicate? The WE HC I had was pretty awful, so it'd definitely be TM if I wsa to go down that route. I'm the same @Gepard, I prefer the design of the FNX over the Hi-capa, mainly because you see HC's everywhere.

unless you specifically want to be able to replace every part with an aftermarket one then really it's a case of whichever you preferr.

i'd go with the fnx, the hicapa is a mighty beast for sure but given i wouldnt be doing much besides a hop/barrel tweak i'd preferr the fnx for the more military styling.

of course i say that owning a hicapa and not an fnx.....

Just buy both. Difficult decision made easy then.
