It started as a quest to quieten the thing down a bit, by adding a suppressor. Then I realised that the wobbly front end meant that the BBs were being fouled by it. But if I add a longer barrel, I can pack it out and use that as a support for the suppressor.
I threw in the old sloppybore from my G36, which actually reduced the fps over the 110mm 6.02 that I'd put in. Sadface. So then I put in the 6.03mm 249mm ZCI from the G36 and it came out so close to 350fps that I'm mildly obsessed with getting it to come out just barely under.
