It’s a TM. When you change the spring you lose some of that fairy dust that makes TM’s so sort after, obviously Eagle6 are going to top up your level of fairy dust to shoot that little bit further. ??

Ill have you know fairy dust is a very expensive commodity.

Holy shit, that makes so much sense. Thank you for that powerful insight.

That's bullshit, buy a £20 wrench and do it yourself. Cant believe that people wouldn't be able to do that themselves and would rather pay £80 than look at a take down video and learn. £80 is just for the work I assume and doesn't include return postage if you have had to ship it to them?

I can understand that I guess. It's just that I personally know Sam from KOA who is "the" TM specialist, and he doesn't charge nearly as much for the same. For around £100, he can do his amazing aeg gearbox service on a tm, and I don't think he would charge extra for installing a new spring (except for the cost of the spring, of course).

I wouldn't class Sam as "the recoil specialist" considering some of the work I've seen him churn out including having got my hands on a gun second hand that he had done. Personally speaking I'd go to Camo-Raids or Ross at The Cage both of which have a well founded reputation for work on not just being recoil specialists but also a wider range of systems

Eagle6 is a shyster of the highest order.  Avoid.

So, to buy a Tokyo Marui Recoil Shock HK417D, retailers will charge you £660. That's beyond ridiculous. Somebody please justify that for me.
