it's a fair point the manufacturer really should be putting stronger stock components in as if it can happen on the 0.9j UK versions the full FPS versions must really struggle. The FB group I joined before buying gets a lot of posts deleted about gears that break up but it's well known in that community to be a problem.
And it's up to retailers to push back against the manufacturer for the time they spend in replacing gears. I can only assume they've factored that into the cost of the things, since they keep selling them.
Awww, you won't be needing a Prole Gun on Sunday then?
UPS are scheduled to deliver tomorrow but I won't be in so I am hoping I will be able to collect from their depot on Friday and test that night. I'm sure they tested it in house and I insisted they pack the retail box with something to stop the gun damanging its self in shipping as the box was in a poor shape first time I got it but the outter shipping box wasn't damaged at all so it must have came from the gun rattling around in the retail box. So with some extra padding in the shipping I am optimistic that I will be self sufficent on Sunday instead of crying with my BFG in a corner.
You know how on (proper) Top Gear specials, they always had some comedy vehicle following them around that they'd have to use if their own one broke down?
Think: CYMA CM.123 electric pistol.
Sloppily painted with Dulux Soiled Nappy Brown acrylic.
I'll be lugging it around all day, just in case...
