Maybe they were trying to get rid of them so they sent you one to see if you preferred it over the GK5C

I think the lack of hype was probably down to it not being based on a real rifle, looks nice though.

Its not the scorpion evo, it's very similar but definitley no the same, look at the mags for example

It's probably more 'loosely based' on it.

It isn't based on any gun but it was inspired by the skorpion EVO III which is cambered for 9mm Para, whereas the G5 looks more like a 5.56mm

it now looks as if i copied M_P but his comment wasn't there when I wrote the message. When I refreshed his came up before mine 
They seem to have come out of no where with hardly any hype so I'd quite like to see a hands on take from someone that didn't intend to buy one lol
