i know the feeling, i get the distinct impression i'm going to end up ruining it now. was shooting great before i started messing with it.
got one of those scorpion style mosfets with the hop unit that detects when your out of ammo, which will be really cool if i can get it to work right. plus it frees up a mosfet to go in the mg42. also finally got around to fitting a lighter front handguard, the vltor one is nice and solid but man does it screw with the balance.
atm i'm thinking i'm going to pull it apart again and add a grub screw to adjust the trigger and check the wiring. need to swing by the shop again though, the lipo i bought to go in the buffer tube is only registering 2 of the cells.
Well I was given an entire JG M4 minus the outer barrel, delta ring, all the bits that go on the front.... I then proceeded to srouce all the parts myself and I think I may have something wrong because I cannot get it to go together firmly, hence it's earned the name "the rattler." I've asked numerous people to give me a hand but so far it's still in pieces in the spare room.
No that was all fine. I just can't get the outer barrel to sit right and until I do the rail and everything else can't go on. I could run it as is with the inner barrel poking out lol but I spent about £40 on parts and it's still in bits.
Meanwhile, found out why the mosfet stopped working- ate its own wires. Man i hate the v2's version of cable management. The f2000 spoils me with its awesomeness
Lol, i know what you mean. Some idiot decided to route the wires in the v2 right where the motor goes in, so you install the motor and first time you fire your gearbox cuts the wires for you.
Seriously whats wrong with putting them outside where they cant get eaten by the gears lol.
