I just wanted to order an optic :( Now the card is fully blocked from everything as they apparently sent a new one on the 16 Feb and don't want any fraud to occur with the current card I have before the new one arrives, so they won't even unblock it

The in laws were stitched up similar to this when they were abroad, stupid thing is they even told the bank they were traveling and any unusual activity is to be expected but they blocked the cards anyway and said tough sh*t it will be a few days before you can use them basically!!!! Cant even spend your own money anymore its ridiculous.

Never had much of an issue with them, had my card blocked twice I think but once was a genuine fraud

They do seem to send me replacement cards a lot without me asking or needing renewal so I have to  change my details on everything

I had just learned the card number too  :o  Well, time to forget all that I suppose. Bet they'll block this card as soon as I try to order the optic again

Happened to me with Nationwide when I was away on holiday and again when I was buying a car. I rang them, explained what the transactions were and they were unblocked - I also explained that I was going to continue with those types of transactions - after which it hasn't happened again. May be worth a further conversation with them?
